After all, I never sing as good as when I take a shower, and it would probably be even more fun if I had some music to sing to. But the space is pretty limited, especially when I don't want to drill any new holes tiles for a wall-mounted shelf. There are actually only one free area, between one of the walls and the washing machine.  This area is approximately 15*38 cm.   <br /><br />Have been looking for a shelf which could fit there for a long time, without any success. Shelves doesn't seem to be made with those measures. Last week, when I visited Ikea for a few other things, I watched carefully for anything which could work as a shelf. When I almost had given up, I found the cupboard inset "Variera". Two big ones and looked like a perfect combination. You wait and see... But first, I want to show some (if you ask me) pretty good cable installations :)   <br /><br /><a name="more"></a><br />Objects that cannot stand steady have to be attached to the foundation in some way. For me, it was easiest to open the cable ways before attaching them to the shelf, otherwise you might accidentally remove them when opening them.   <br /><br />And since I added this multiple socket, I thought I could have my electric razor at this shelf as well. Used to have it on the floor of my living room, hidden behind a curtain. I attached the charger with velcro tape (just as with the multiple socket) and added cableways for the main.   <br /><br />Finished! I used glass marbles that are flat on one side (also known as vase filler).  I bought a 2-pound bag of clear, standard sized marbles and a box of multi-colored, 3/8" marbles.  (The brand is Jennifer's Mosaics.  I found them at Hobby Lobby.)   <br /><br />To work on the light, I laid the glass part flat on the table.  Starting on the outside edges, I first glued on the small marbles that make the top and bottom trim, using Craft Goop.  After these were in place, I began on an outside edge and filled in with the clear marbles, throwing in a small colored marble every so often.  (Be sure to leave enough room around the pre-drilled holes for the mounting screws.)  Once I had reached the center of the light, I turned it around and started at the other outside edge.  (I did this because the Goop does not adhere instantly, and the bottom marbles helped hold the next row in place.)  I worked until the lamp was completely covered  <br /><br />Even though the Goop instructions said that the bond would be permanent in 24 hours, I let the lamp dry for 5 days before hanging it up, just to be sure. Then keep on reading for an redo that'll take you less than half an hour to put together!  <br /><br />You'll Need:  <br /><br />Kvarta clock  <br />Scrapbook Paper  <br />Double-Sided Tape  <br />Compass  <br />Scissors  <br /><br />The first thing you need to do is take apart your clock.  Mine was easy to do.....unscrewed 4 screws on the back, and then the whole thing came apart in a snap.  <br /><br />Now that you've got your clock torn apart, remove the clock hands and set them aside. Just lay a sheet down on your craft table, place the clock front on top of it, and keep doing that with different sheets of scrapbook paper until you find one that calls to you.  I've shown you a couple of extra examples that I will do in the future.  <br /><br />Take your compass and put the sharp point at your clock face's center, and adjust it till the lead end is at the edge of the clock face.  <br /><br />Place your compass on the backside of your scrapbook paper, making sure it's basically over the area that you want for your clock face. We also needed it to be moveable since we regularly shift things around when building large installations or conducting photo sessions.  Seeing as how we are a company that makes IKEA Hacking supplies (er, ok.  Perhaps IKEA Tweaking supplies?) - we were glad for an opportunity to hack out a one-of a kind creation. We made sure to drive the screws through the plywood and into the frames of the Expedit units, where the construction is densest.   <br /><br />4) We then installed  the ten casters on the underside of the 10' x 4"� assembly.  Each half got a caster in each corner, and one in the center.  We then carefully tipped the whole thing 90 degrees on it's side (this took a few of us), and then tipped it 90 degrees again onto the wheels.  It floats!!!!  <br /><br />5) The final step was to attached a 1/2"� hardboard sheet, topped by 4' x 10"� x 1/4"� sheet of white plexiglass as a cutting surface. This table is not only gigantic, rock-solid.  It can easily store hundreds of pounds of materials, and even with all that weight it rolls readily when pushed.  However, even with the casters unlocked it does not drift when leaning on the cutting surface. The bottom tracks are secured to a 2x4 installed crown facing up. The width of the doors left a little gap which Chris closed up with a piece of pine. Drill two holes in the size of the spotlights. Be careful the table is paper inside so you need a bracket to screw underneath in order to hold the spotlights.   <br />2. The pot should be conical and the diameter of the hole should be smaller than the top of the  pot. Otherwise it will fall through the hole.  <br />3. Clean the drawer unit and then glue on the charts you choose.  <br />I used wallpaper glue as the charts are rather thick. <br /><br />2.When the glue has dried you cut up between the drawers, using a wallpaper knife.  <br /><br />3. Now it's time to seal the paper with some varnish, I used matte deco lacquer.  <br />Go over it at least twice, so you get a hard surface.  <br /><br />4. When the varnish/lacquer is dry, you cut the edges of the paper around the drawers and polish with some sandpaper, I use no. 80  <br /><br />5.
