I also made the sacks that are hanging with the fabric I had left over from the curtains (also from IKEA)...So I guess my ceiling light is 100% IKEA hack! Note that it is strictly important to put a visible cable from the wall to the middle of the fishing rod: It is useless at all as weight holder, but it is fundamental for human eye, without it you will not see a fishing rod bringing a lamp but a ceiling bringing a lamp and a fishing rod, incredible but true!!!!<br /><br />~ alberto gregori

Unfold and mount Regolit shade. Cover the bottom with a bit of paper or tissue and some glue. Keep the top open.<br />2. Cut crepe paper in small squares (about 5x5 cm) and twist them pinching the centre (like small flowers)<br />3. Glue small paper bits to Regolit shade, following the Pokeball pattern.<br />4. Fill with usual pi�ata stuff.<br />5. The muffin cases were  scrunched up a bit, and I tried to avoid being precise. <br> <br>The only tricky bit was that I had to wear a t-shirt to avoid getting my arm stuck/ sewn inside the shade. <br> <br>It took about 400 muffin cases and about 4 hours.</p><p>~ Emma</p>

So you could say I willed this into existence. Right? <br /><br />Anyway, this is easy as pie and cheap too.  <br /><br />You gently scrunch up the bottoms of the coffee filters so there they're pretty wrinkled but the "skirts" are still quite neat. Dab glue dots with your gun all over the bottom, mostly along the edges - you won't need much and don't have to be too precise� �" and just place the glue-dotted bottom on the lantern shade, one by one until you've covered it all. <br /><br />It doesn't require too much patience or precision, it's probably going to come out looking pretty no matter what. <br /><br />~ gudrun, Iceland

Thus Ikea! I was working with a gym here, so not that attractive. I tied some twine across the basketball hoops to drape things across. <br /><br />To create some creepy cloth I took three Lill curtains (which come in pairs) and cut them horizontally. Then I snipped them at the bottom and torn them upward and jabbed a pair of scissors in a few times to create jagged holes. I stitched the panels together because I needed them to span about 36 feet. <br /><br />Next I took the Regolit and Vate paper lanterns and turned them into Jack O' Lanterns. The Vate was a steal in the 'As Is' section for only $1.50! First of all, the original one was smaller than I needed. The other problem was the high price. So I simple reduced the price of the third with this Ikea hack.  </p><p>I bought an Ikea Regolit lamp, and a Bloom ceiling light (which is much cheaper than the floor version). I cut the Regolit's light bulb part, and attached the Bloom's "head" to it. I wanted a BOJA effect to it so I painted it with Acrylic Black paint. And then punched some holes on them in a pattern. I  have a friend who is so mathematically precise with a pen. I then took a old night light base and placed it inside.
