Expedit bookcase turned shoe rack

Materials: Bookcase expedit, door MDF, hardboard plate, enamel paint, hinges and handle

Description: My hack is to turn an Ikea Expedit bookshelf in a locked cupboard for my dozens of shoes.

I had the Expedit in black-brown, but I wanted a white cabinet, so I sanded and then painted it with white enamel paint.

I asked a carpenter to make me a door in MDF with the right measurements and a hardboard plate to apply behind the cabinet and so it became a closed cabinet.

I painted the door, put in the hinges and the handle also from Ikea.
