Wood floors using Sultan Lade slatted bed base

Materials: Sultan Lade, Wood Stain, Materials to age wood

Description: This is a small 24 square foot space in my movie room. I built a small two tier deck and used some leftover sultan lade bed slats that I found in the trash.

I stained the slats with various leftover stains that I have. I tried to age them using various techniques. I wanted to make sure that each slat was different. I was going for the look of a patchwork quilt.

I nailed them to OSB underlayment

After searching for months for "reclaimed wood" that I was never able to find at a reasonable price, I was very happy with the results.

By taking new wood and aging it I got my "reclaimed wood" for half the price.
