HEMMA is particularly good for this hack since the cord runs through the rod and base, so there'€™s no need to cut a separate route for it through the books, and the base provides a sturdy foundation for the books to rest on.  <br /><br />1. Disassemble the socket and cord from the lamp rod.  <br />2. Cut a hole through the centers of the books. You could use a drill for this; we didn't have one handy so we used a screwdriver to make the initial hole and a two-sided apple corer to expand it the right size. Don't make the hole too big! This is less important for the bottom books but itâ€™s crucial for the top book.  <br />3. Mix a solution of white glue and water (about 80% glue 20% water) and use a brush to generously apply the glue to the book'€™s pages - first glue the inside of the covers, and then hold the pages together tightly and glue the sides of the book and the inside of the hole.  <br />4. Allow books to dry for several hours, preferably with some weight on top of them. There'€™s no need to glue the books to each other - their weight is enough, and it also allows you to play around with their positioning.  <br />5. Place the rod through the books and attach it to the base. (first, I unjoined the upper part) <br />It is so easy, takes only 5 min! After looking around and finding nothing I wanted I decided to create something from circuit boards.  <br />I purchased blank printed circuit boards from ebay.  <br />I used copper wire and insulated wire. I tried using 5 of them but it was very heavy, the 3/4 seemed to be a good look and weight, they are hung with cup hooks using the hooks that came with the cord set. <br /><br />I then suspended the Hemma fixture inside with insulated wiring. This hack adds lighting, and makes the room warmer.  <br /><br /><br />Instructions: <br /><br />1. Assemble Orgel and Hemma light.  <br />2. Hang light using the wire hooks. <br />3. Cut  the Anno Inez panel in half. <br />4. Hot glue two of the wooden shims across the bottom of the panel (for weight, to keep the panel in place). Fold the fabric over the other side of the shim, and glue again. <br />5. Fold the top of the panel � inch, and hot glue it in place (so as not to leave a fraying edge exposed). Fold another � inch, and glue again. <br />6. Attach Velcro strips on the top fold of the panel curtain, and on the ceiling, making sure to cover as much of the cord as possible. <br />7. Attach the Velcro strips to the fabric and to the wall, approximately 2 feet down the panel. Make sure the fabric hangs straight, and hangs at an angle. <br />8. Attach one last Velcro strip on the corner of the fabric-covered shim, and attach to the wall, making sure the fabric hangs straight. (You can't put the Velcro strips on both sides, because the cord makes it impossible for the shims to lay flat against the wall.   <br />9.
