These little firepots cast the most gorgeous warm glow, reminiscent of an old boiler room. <br /><br />You will need... <br />-IVETOFTA candle lantern <br />-Spray primer in gray <br />-Rust-Oleum's Hammered Metal spray paint in gray <br />-Acrylic craft paint (I used 2 paint colors- antique copper and dark burnt umber) <br />-Liquid gold leaf <br />-2 foam brushes <br />-Painter's tape <br />-Paper towel <br /><br />Instructions: <br /><ol><li>Spray paint the lantern with primer, followed by 2 coats of hammered metal finish.</li><li>Once dry, using a foam brush, paint the inside of the lantern with liquid gold leaf.</li><li>Using a different foam brush, apply streaks of acrylic craft paint around the circumference of the lantern, wiping with a paper towel. </li><li>Spray a bit more of the hammered metal paint on a paper plate. Using painter's tape, apply the extra paint to the surface of the lantern. Technique: stick, then pull.
