Materials: Lack Coffee table (birch effect), stain, paint in different colors, clear paint, sand paper

Description: Our Lack table didn't match the rest of our furniture anymore, so I looked for an idea to fit in.

First I sanded the thin layer of clear paint from the table, hoping to find at least a little bit of something what is called wood, plywood or similar. I don't know what I found, but the stain in the color cherry moved in and I could go on painting the table in stripes with paint in different colors.

After this was done and the paint dry, I sanded the table again until it had the used look I wanted. Last I covered the table with clear paint to protect the spots where the lacquer was gone and the stain came through.
